Do I need to install a browser extension?
No. URLtoMedia runs entirely in the cloud using headless browsers. You only need a modern web browser to submit URLs and download the results.
Can I record long or animated pages?
Yes. Use the video mode to capture smooth scrolling footage of entire pages or auto-playing sections. Adjust duration, scroll speed, and pauses in the advanced panel.
How long are captures stored?
Files stay available just long enough for you to download them. We automatically purge all assets shortly after completion for privacy and storage efficiency.
Is URLtoMedia free?
The hosted beta is free while we stabilize the service. Fair-use limits may apply to prevent abuse. Contact us if you need higher volume.
Can I capture password-protected pages?
Not yet. URLtoMedia currently works with public URLs only. Support for authenticated sessions is on our roadmap.
